Kevin Feige Confirms Charlie Cox Daredevil in MCU

It has been over three years now since the hit series Daredevil was on air at Netflix. The series end came as a shock to some but in reality probably had the most to do with the future of Marvel Studios and Disney’s reign on the brand. Since then we’ve seen massively successful shows on Disney Plus such as Wandavision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, as well as Loki.

It has been anticipated that Charlie Cox along with Vincent D’Onofrio and Jon Bernthal would reprise their roles as Daredevil, Kingpin, and The Punisher in MCU films or Disney Plus series. Finally, Kevin Feige confirmed to Cinemablend that Charlie Cox would reprise his role this week but is uncertain how or when that will transpire. There are also rumblings that the current Disney Plus series Hawkeye teased at the return of Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk AKA Kingpin in its most recent episode.

Jon Bernthal has yet to be confirmed but with the success of The Punisher on Netflix, and the importance of The Punisher in the Marvel comic universe, it is safe to say it’s likely. Now that another three Spider-Man films including Tom Holland have been announced, the prospects of having these four in a film together is something Marvel fans will surely be excited about, with the history of the four characters often interacting together in Marvel comics.
