Seth MacFarlane and Family Guy May Leave Fox Due to Tucker Carlson and Fox News

Family Guy creator, Seth MacFarlane is threatening to pull Family Guy from the Fox Networks. MacFarlane references Tucker Carlson as a deciding factor in the potential decision. Fox has been home to the animated sitcom since the show’s inception in 1999.

Tucker Carlson’s latest opinion piece once again makes me wish Family Guy was on any other network. Look, Fox, we both know this marriage isn’t working anymore. The sex is only once a year, I don’t get along with your mother, and well… I’ve been having an affair with NBC.

This is a move that could lose Fox a good amount of viewers and money. Family Guy’s most recent season averaged between 1 million and 2 million views per episode. Tucker Carlson averaged between 2 million and 3 million. One is spewing harmful disinformation to a gullible audience however, and it’s not the sitcom. Fox and other corporations continue to prioritize what makes them the most money, no matter how harmful it is to the culture and society.
