Britney Spears Will Retire if Her Conservatorship Continues

Britney Spears’ attorney stated in court that she may retire if her father continues to remain power of it. According to AP’s reporting of the court case, Spears fears her father. They have also not spoke in years, yet he remains in control of her and her career, and has since 2008.

The free Britney movement suffered a setback as a petition to remove her father as conservator was denied. There have been a slew of allegations from Britney Spears against her father and surely Britney should be granted freedom after more than a decade. Whether the conservatorship will end soon remains to be seen.
