A Simpsons open-world game

Simpsons Hit & Run as well as Road Rage were massive success stories as well as incredibly entertaining. The people love The Simpsons and the world is better for it. It’s no coincidence The Simpsons have had a knack for predicting things we’ve seen come to reality. Bring back the franchise everyone loves to video games!

FIFA World Cup

EA Sports has redirected its focus clearly in the last 10 years. A decade ago, it laid off about ten percent of its workforce and since, they have only funded moderate changes to their repetitive franchises. The FIFA series has become a loop of focusing on Ultimate Team where players can pay for a chance to have a better team online. EA only focuses on how they can make money and they don’t spend the money to improve the quality of the game, to make it more realistic to the real game, to rate real-life players appropriately, or to make the experience pleasant for anyone. The FIFA series has gone downhill drastically but if they started to invest more into what the community actually wants to see, or what they enjoy, they may begin to actually create a pleasant product once again. 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa was the last World Cup game released and it seemed to make a decade of World Cup experiences even better by being able to play World Cups with your friends in between real life games.

NBA, NFL & FIFA Street

Another example of EA prioritizing money over everything else was the downfall of EA Big. We can only imagine the Street franchises with modern day video game capabilities. However, with an EA Sports declining product and mismanagement, we wonder if it may be better off letting this one die, rather than being disappointed by what EA would come up with.

F-Zero

It’s Mario Kart but more intense. More importantly, it’s Captain Falcon. There has to be a Captain Falcon Nintendo Switch game. No excuses.

X-Men

There’s no X-Men game in modern video gaming. From the brilliant 90s arcade, Nintendo, and Sega renditions, to X-Men Origins: Wolverine, to X-Men Legends l & ll, the X-Men had a fantastic run of video games. Similarly to The Simpsons, the X-Men hold a lot of cultural significance. We don’t know what’s cooking at Marvel when it comes to the X gang these days but we can only hope we can play as our favorite mutants someday again soon.
